ANIMA MUNDI establishes its International Advisory Board
ANIMA MUNDI has established an International Advisory Board to support the project’s mission of strengthening the European Animation Industry and enhancing its promotion across Europe and abroad.
The Advisory Board brings together leading organisations, industry professionals, and academic experts from across Europe, ensuring a diversity of perspectives spanning policy, industry practices, and research. Its role is to provide strategic guidance, contribute sectoral expertise, and offer critical insights throughout the project’s development.
The Core Advisory Board includes five key European organisations with a strong presence in the audiovisual and animation sectors: European Film Promotion, Europa Distribution, the European Broadcasting Union, Europa International, and the European Video Exchange Network.
In addition, a Pool of Engaged Organisations contributes expertise from across the European cultural and audiovisual landscape, including CARTOON, CineRegio, Eurocinema, the European Audiovisual Observatory, the European Film Agencies Directors Association, EUNIC Korea, the European Producers Club, and the Cultural Relations Platform.
The Advisory Board is further strengthened by a Pool of Engaged Scholars and Experts: Carmina Crusafon Baqués (Autonomous University of Barcelona), Carla Figueira, Carlotta Scioldo (Erasmus University Rotterdam), and Panagiotis Kyriakoulakos (University of the Aegean). Their academic expertise spans media studies, international cultural relations, cultural and creative industries, and animation.
Together, the Advisory Board will support ANIMA MUNDI in connecting research, policy, and industry perspectives and maximising the project’s impact at European and international levels.
