Set-the-Stage Report

ANIMA MUNDI has now finalised and released its Set-the-Stage Report on the international promotion of the European Animation Industry, marking the completion of one of the project’s key early milestones.

The report builds on the Set-the-Stage Workshops held between June and September 2025. These sessions brought together 43 participants from policy and industry backgrounds to discuss intellectual property, discoverability, international cooperation, and the broader social role of animation. These discussions provided the groundwork for this first consolidated analysis within the project.

The insights from this report will feed into the next phases of the project, including the development of the ANIMA MUNDI Dashboard, the European Animation Brand strategy, and upcoming policy and industry toolkits.
