The ANIMA MUNDI consortium meeting was held in Brussels on 7 and 8 April 2025. This first in-person meeting was an opportunity for partners from all over Europe, representing both the academic world and the animation industry, to get together and lay the foundations for a common project: revealing the potential and strengthening the European animation ecosystem.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the general objectives of the project, present the various tasks and gain a better understanding of the roles, contributions and expectations of everyone involved. Particular attention was paid to the links between the different Work Packages, to ensure fluid and coherent coordination throughout the project.

Management procedures and responsibilities for the next six months were also discussed to establish proper coordination between the various partners and to structure the first stages of the project's implementation.

Beyond the organisational aspects, this meeting launched a real collaborative dynamic, strengthened the links between partners and defined a common trajectory for achieving the objectives initiated by this project.
