Objectives:

  • Understand how EAIE works feature in international markets with a focus on Asian markets
  • Assess the perspectives of audiences, in particular youth and children, towards EAIE and their conditions of access to animation
  • Analyse platform affordances, in particular towards discoverability of European animated content
  • Identify and analyse obstacles and enablers for content by women creators in EAIE to reach audiences

  • Explore and test perspectives of young people and children for the promotion and innovation in animation
  • Develop and co-test a pilot EAIE marketing strategy focusing on audiences and Asian markets
  • Explore and assess children’s fundamental rights protection in animation
  • Develop and test a tool aiming at promoting discoverability via gamification on an online VOD platform
  • Develop and test gender sensitive innovation in discoverability and global outreach
